The CBSF-75-Basic is a hand-held measuring device for a simplified measuring method for checking transient and quasistatic forces and pressures on collaborating robots.In any human-robot collaboration (HRC) without separating protective equipment,collisions between humans and robots cannot be completely ruled out. The permissible limit values for force and pressure in accordance with ISO/TS 15066 must be observed as they ensure the safe operation of HRC work places. The CBSF-75-Basic is a force transducer,which in combination with the pressure measurement set CoboSafe-Scan employs a simplified measuring procedure. Here a measuring device is used with only one spring constant which determines the existing collision forces and pressures for different body zones. The system addresses applications that do not primarily work speed-orientated,and is sufficient for a range of different applications. For more detailed measurements,CBSF instruments are required.
CBSF-75-Gripper stands for measuring static and dynamic crushing forces of collaborating robot grippers,developed according to ISO/TS 15066,ISO 10218-1,ISO 10218-2 and EN 415-10. In the collaboration of human personnel and industrial robots without separating safety fences,the risk of potentially harmful collisions can’t be ruled out and has to be dealt with. For a safe operation of collaborative robot workplaces possible collision forces need to be tested and limited. While other CoboSafe force transducers are able to evaluate impact forces between a robot arm and human personnel,the CBSF-75-Gripper was designed to measure static and dynamic crushing forces of the robot‘s gripper. The measuring range of the CBSF-75-Gripper is limited to 300 N. The measuring system is equipped with a spring rate of 75 N/mm.
For each of the nine spring constants according to ISO/TS 15066,one aluminum made calibrated force transducer is immediately
available and ready for measuring without any further preparation. The heart of the force transducer is the Piezo force sensor
with linear-guided measuring mechanism which guarantees optimum measuring accuracy and reproducibility.
The force gauge is equipped with integrated electronics for the evaluation and storage of the values measured.
The storage capacity is up to 100 single measurements. The transient and quasi-static values are represented via the display.
Data are transferred wireless,or alternatively by USB interface. In this way,the force transducers are very easy to position and
the data is immediately visible on the PC or another external display screen.
